Public Information

Our publication scheme sets out the information that the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) recommends should be routinely available and acts as a quick link guide.

The Local Government Association (LGA) and the Improvement and Development Agency for Local Government (IDeA) are not subject to the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

We are however committed to fostering a culture of openness, transparency and accountability. We support this by publishing as much information as possible on our website free of charge and by adopting a publication scheme based on the ICO's model publication scheme.
