Pensions Bill

We believe that, while the aim of the Bill to provide a useful degree of simplicity via a single-tier state pension scheme is to be supported, we are concerned that there will be unintended consequences for public service pension schemes should the removal of contracting out for occupational schemes take place. The removal of contracting out from April 2016 will have significant financial implications to both scheme members and public service employers.
