Nominations are now open for the LGA Liberal Democrat Group elections.
All Liberal Democrat Councillors who were in office on 30 April this year are eligible to stand and vote; all Liberal Democrat Councillors who were elected on 3 May this year will be eligible to vote (Group rules mean that you need to be in office for at least a year before you put your name forward to stand).
The closing date for nominations is 5pm on Tuesday 14 May 2019.
The rest of the timetable is as follows:
- Ballot opens: Wednesday 5 June, 9am, with this day to be the target date for ballot mailings to arrive with people
- Ballot closes: Wednesday 19 June 2019, 5pm
- Results announced by Friday 21 June 2019.
