About the event
This event is being run in partnership with LG Improvement and Development. Taking part will be Professor Sir Michael Marmot, Director, UCL International Institute for Society and Health and Susan Biddle from LG Improvement and Development.
It will examine the ongoing challenge for the provision of personalised care delivered at a local level - a local approach to health improvement through:
- tackling local health inequalities
- providing leadership to promote wellbeing
- fostering a joined-up approach to health improvement throughout local government, through a partnership process.
Increasing demands on local government and the health and social care service operating in an era of financial restraint - demanding high - quality standards at reduced cost - provides a challenging operating environment.
This event will target 400+ delegates, the senior decision makers, key stakeholders and individuals involved in delivering this agenda both at corporate level and those involved with the implementation and delivery process on the ground.
It will provide an opportunity for delegates to learn and share best practice, while offering access to the latest technology and innovative services. These will be available to the sector through learning and implementation master classes, exhibition and networking sessions.
