Bribery Act 2010 guidance

The Bribery Act 2010 creates a new offence under section 7 which can be committed by commercial organisations which fail to prevent persons associated with them from bribing another person on their behalf. This Guidance is designed to help commercial organisations understand the sorts of procedures they can put in place to prevent bribery.

UK anti-corruption strategy 2017 to 2022

The cross-government anti-corruption strategy provides a framework to guide UK government action to tackle corruption for the period to 2022. It sets out a longer term vision of anti-corruption action leading to reduced threats to our national security; stronger economic opportunities and; greater public trust and confidence in our institutions.

NAO Fraud Landscape review

This is a review of the fraud landscape, examining the government’s approach to tackling fraud in the public sector. It focuses on fraud associated with central government expenditure other than tax credit and benefit fraud as this is an area that has had less attention.

Government counter fraud standards and profession

The GCFP is a structure for counter fraud specialists working in central government. It aims to bring the counter fraud community together under a common set of standards and develop that community as they protect public services and fight economic crime. As part of this new and active community, members will not only gain recognition and credibility for their specialist skill set, but also have access to the standards, guidance and products to help members develop their own career.
