Care and health efficiency The current system of health and care is unsustainable and needs transforming to one that provides better, more coordinated and more personalised care. This will enable local government to Productivity experts and masterclasses Our Productivity Experts programme provides councils with funding to enable them to engage an expert in their field to help deliver efficiency savings. Shared services Local government is leading the public sector in implementing shared service with at least 96 per cent of councils across the country are currently sharing services with other councils. Waste management Food waste disposers were fitted in 350 homes across three pilot sites in England.
