When compiling the first New Conversations guide, the LGA ran pilots in four authorities – Hackney, Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA), Staffordshire and Harlow – to test new techniques.
The assets in this section are from these pilots, providing an overview of the work done during each, and of the resources developed to support this.
They include materials to help with place-building (from the Hackney pilot), assets to help with the councillor role in devolution (from GMCA), tools generated using digital and networks-based approaches (in Staffordshire), and culture change/ channel shift materials (in Harlow).
