The LGA Workforce team work in conjunction with regional employers’ organisations on matters relating to pay and conditions for local authority employees and workers.
The LGA is also part of the National Association of Regional Employers (NARE) which includes elected members together with officers from each of the English regions, Northern Ireland and Wales. This provides a strong national voice to influence negotiations on pay and terms and conditions.
It is also a valuable platform for sharing information and collaborating with other regions.
