This report outlines the sixteenth set of results in a series of regular Local Government Association (LGA) public polls on resident satisfaction with local councils, conducted every four months.

With the publication of Are You Being Served 2 – a set of resident satisfaction questions that councils can choose to use in their local surveys and benchmark themselves against other authorities – the LGA has responded to demand from the sector for more intelligence in this area.

Between 2 and 5 February 2017, a representative random sample of 1,007 British adults (aged 18 or over) was polled by telephone.
