NHS Cambridgeshire has launched the first two pilot GP Commissioning Consortia nationally, with the introduction of 'Hunts Health' and Borderline Commissioning Consortia'. NHS Cambridgeshire and local GPs have been working in partnership to design a system that will enable local GPs to commission (buy) health services directly for their patients.
