Career Academy maturity matrix

The Care and Health Career Academies Maturity Matrix serves as a structured framework to evaluate councils' progress and maturity level on their journey towards developing academies. With a focus on five distinct progress levels - first steps, complaint, strategic, integrated, and disruptive - this matrix examines key themes in council activities. These themes encompass workforce leadership, recruitment strategies, training and development arrangements, and collaboration with schools, colleges, universities, and care provider forums.

Care and health career academy toolkit

This toolkit provides guidance for those who want to establish their own career academy. It was commissioned by the North West Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (NWADASS) and the Local Government Association (LGA).
