The LGA's Innovation Zone returned in 2022 as part of our Annual Conference and Exhibition, which took place in Harrogate from 28 to 30 June.
Set within the wider LGA conference, the 2022 Innovation Zone offered a lively and interactive space where delegates had an opportunity to hear presentations from individuals and organisations with innovative ideas. The Innovation Zone theme, Resilience and Renewal, recognised the significant challenges councils have managed in recent years, while casting an eye to the future to look at how councils can and have continued to improve services and deliver positive outcomes for their communities.
More than 30 sessions were held on topics including adults and children's services, climate change, community wellbeing and health, economic growth, digital, equality, diversity and inclusion, and more. Our new series of Spotlight on talks inspired delegates to think creatively and engage with big ideas.
