Labour Group Councillors' Forum

The Labour Group Councillors' Forum meets prior to the cross-party councillors’ forum. It discusses relevant issues and has a report from the group leader, the NEC reps and the ALC rep. Most meetings also have a parliamentary report from a shadow minister.

You can find out more detail about the LGA Councillors' Forum here www.local.gov.uk/councillors-forum.

Prior to the cross party LGA Councillors' Forum, the Labour Group Councillors' Forum meets. This is open to all Labour councillors in England and Wales to attend. The meeting provides Labour member councillors with regular opportunities to engage with the LGA Labour Group Executive Team and hold their decisions to account. The meetings involve a discussion of priority issues for Labour Local Government and frequent reports from shadow ministers.

The meetings finish immediately prior to the cross-party LGA Councillors' Forum, which members are also welcome to attend. If you wish to attend a meeting, please email lewis.addlington-lee@local.gov.uk to confirm your place.
