Local Government Delivery Council (LGDC)

The Local Government Delivery Council (LGDC) was established in late 2007, under the auspices of the Local Government Association, in order to provide leadership across the sector on the service transformation agenda.


It is a representative group of council chief executives and directors, interested in or actively delivering the ‘transformation’ of local public services in their council. The aim is to better capture examples of good practice and share this for the benefit of all councils plus to help showcase more widely the good work being done in local government.
