Details below are for Corporate Peer challenge training days. Any themed peer training days will be advertised when confirmed.
The LGA provides training for officer and member peers. These sessions cover the methodology used for corporate peer challenges and key principles of peer working. They are delivered by experienced LGA staff with many years' experience of peer challenge. The events are free to attend and open to both officers and elected members, and aimed particularly at new peers.
Prior to attending you must have completed and returned an Expression of Interest form, or provided a recent CV to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will invite you to attend if your experience and areas of expertise are likely to be required for the programme. If you would be interested in a date from the list below please let us know which dates might suit you and we can send further details. Member peers wishing to attend will need to agree this with the relevant LGA Political Group Office.
The training events will run 10am to 4pm and will be held regionally.
