Community engagement is key to neighbourhood planning, as a neighbourhood plan should be community-led, that is researched, written and voted on by the people who live in the neighbourhood. The reports were written in 2016/17 and to highlight how different Local Authorities have made it easier for communities to get involved in planning and are still a useful resource but please be mindful that policy has changed since they were written so not all references will be up to date.
