Bath and North East Somerset Council
In 2016, a collection of 4 case studies in Bath and North East Somerset demonstrated what could be achieved through the addition to the council team of a support officer for community neighbourhood planning which are still considered useful.
It shares insights to the methods used by the local authority and the community to engage local people with neighbourhood planning and shares experiences of local collaboration, how communication between local groups was improved throughout the neighbourhood planning process and how that promoted a greater understanding of each groups' needs and priorities.
