In communities across the country we know that local people are concerned about losing locally-valued assets and associated services – from inner-city community centres to village pubs and post offices.

In January 2024, the Local Government Association (LGA) conducted a survey of single-tier and county councils to identify the impact that is likely to result from the Government’s plan not to extend the Household Support Fund beyond March 2024.
