What next for devolution?

We are launching this green paper, which has been developed with the involvement of councils, to encourage local debate and generate wider scrutiny of the whole devolution process.

This paper is an attempt to unblock some of those frustrations and debate some of those concerns. It sets out some ideas and a series of big questions which we hope will serve as a way to structure the conversations that are already happening in towns, cities, villages, streets and high streets up and down the country.
