Returning couldn’t be simpler. In no time at all, you could find yourself back making a genuine difference to people’s lives
The process is simple
1. Enter the talent pool
You have until 1 January to apply to the Return to Social Work programme. The simple form, will only take you a few minutes to complete and will assess your eligibility for the programme.
2. Application
If you are eligible you will be invited to complete a more detailed form to help us assess your experience and abilities, which you will need to submit by midnight on the 15 January. If you are not eligible you will receive guidance on possible routes back into social work
3. Assessment stage
Your application will be assessed by a panel. Depending on the assessment of your application you will be invited for an interview.
If you are unsuccessful at this stage you will be given details of how to access extra support to take that final step back in to social work.
4. Enrolment
If you are one of the successful candidates you will be invited to join the programme where you will work through a portfolio of development workshops, coaching and specialist training, all completely free of charge.
5. Registration
Once you have completed your training you will need to pay HCPC a £315 registration fee or an initial £225 followed by a direct debit of £90
