The LGA Independent Group represents councillors in England and Wales who are Independent, Plaid Cymru or from smaller parties. We provide our members with a voice at the national level and work within the cross-party Local Government Association (LGA) to ensure that the values and interests of our members are represented.
We work within the LGA to shape its policy work as well as parliamentary briefings and press work. We also work with the LGA to advise on and provide improvement support, mentoring, training, and events with our network of member peers.
