The community fund, with grants of up to £1,000 at a time, is available for partners who want to run smokefree events and initiatives. 

Oxfordshire County Council has worked closely with local GPs to ensure women have access to LARC and the system is administered fairly in terms of whether it is the council or NHS that pays for the service. This case study forms part of our sexual health resource.

Oxfordshire’s substance misuse has seen an improvement in performance for clients with alcohol problems after re-organising the way clinics are delivered. The service introduced segmentation – grouping together clinics with similar clients.

A café staffed by substance misuse service users has been created in Oxfordshire to help people recover from their problems.

Outside Edge Theatre Company (OETC) offers free drama activities to help people affected by addiction live healthier lives. They have partnered for over 20 years with local authority commissioners in West and North West London to co-produce evidence-based, peer-support activities that improve wellbeing to prevent relapse. Project context

This project was designed to speed up and support individuals to complete financial assessments for social care and reduce failed care packages. Follow-on funding was provided for the development of explanatory videos to be included in the online forms.

This project explored the development of online care accounts for service users and carers, enabling them to complete tasks such as updating demographic information or downloading care plans.

Oldham council is working closely with communities leaders and key partners to address vaccine hesitancy amongst its ethnic minority population.
