In north Manchester clinical commissioning group funding has supplemented investment by the council to create a network of breastfeeding support for new mothers.

Summary Mansfield District Council has started building 43 new family-sized dwellings at the Bellamy Road estate. The development is part of the Local Authority New Build programme which is funding councils to build much-needed social housing.

The council has ambitious plans to see housing construction on a large scale.

The ASSIST– advocacy, sustainment, supporting independence and safeguarding team – scheme brings together teams from the district council, Nottinghamshire County Council, Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Mansfield and Ashfield Clinical Commissioning Group, and Nottingham Trent University. This example of how local areas are working to implement overall system change forms part of our managing transfers of care resource.

Piloting an engagement-led approach to identifying brownfield sites for new homes.

Climate change is already impacting West Sussex, and we know that it often disproportionately affects vulnerable communities. To better understand the relationship between social and climate vulnerability, WSCC partnered with the University of Brighton to develop the Climate Vulnerability Index (CVI).

This case study forms part of the What Good Looks Like report on people with a learning disability and autistic people. This co-produced report was commissioned from the Building the Right Support Advisory Group, as part of the wider action plan developed by the Building the Right Support Delivery Board. It has been supported by Partners in Care and Health.
