The Community Wellbeing Board has responsibility for the LGA's activity in the areas of the wellbeing of adults, including health and social care.
This Task and Finish Group, chaired by Cllr Izzi Seccombe, is overseeing a focused piece of work, addressing how local councils can take a pro-active approach to demographic change, going forward.
The LGA, ADASS and DH are working in partnership to support local areas in implementation of the care and support reforms in the context of the other changes and challenges for local health and care systems, including the Better Care Fund.
Information and support tools for local authorities and partners to help support a safe transfer of public health services for 0-5 year olds from NHS England to local authorities on 1 October 2015.
The LGA, ADCS, SOLACE and ADPH are working in partnership with NHS England, DH and wider partners to support local areas to transform services.
