PAS events have always been a key part of our offer to the sector. Practical, focused, topical and relevant (so people tell us).

We are running a new series of events that are focussed on developing the skills you need to be a better planner or councillor involved in planning.  If you are a PAS subscriber you can use that to pay for delegates; if you are not a subscriber, you can pay to attend each event (but why not take out a subscription and get better value for money over the year?)  In some cases, events will be free. Follow the details below to find out more about booking.

£150 for non-residential
£0 for Peers
£0 for PAS subscribers (above amounts to come off PAS account)

Book here: Wolverhampton 20/21 March 2017

What does the White Paper 2017 mean for you?

The Housing White Paper sets out a series of far reaching planning reforms to speed up housing delivery. These will have a big impact on the way planning services are delivered and specific implications for plan making and development planning practice.
PAS is teaming up with DCLG to deliver a series of briefings across the country in late February and March 2017.  This kicks off a series of PAS support projects aimed at helping help planners get to grips with the changes and the implications for their work.

The PAS Regional White Paper Briefings will provide heads of planning services and team leaders with the opportunity hear from DCLG about the key proposals and the intent behind them.

Sign up for a briefing event in your area to get a head start on considering what the changes envisaged in the White Paper mean for your authority's planning service:

•           28 February - London
•           2 March - Exeter
•           7 March -  Leeds
•           14 March -  Birmingham
•           16 March  - London
•           23 March  - London
