A guide for local authorities who are planning and developing their programme of support to resettled clients on the Vulnerable Person Resettlement Scheme that have been in the UK for more than a year.

Despite the funding constraints that councils face, they remain committed to providing help and support for households in financial difficulty as part of their wider place-shaping ambitions. This report outlines the results of a Local Government Association (LGA) public poll on resident satisfaction with councils’ response to COVID-19. It follows a similar format to the LGA’s regular resident satisfaction polling, which has been conducted every three to four months since 2012.

Lack of access to fuel has serious consequences for the social care sector. This publication has been developed with the Care Provider Alliance to support councils, local resilience forums and care providers in responding to future challenges around fuel supply.

Between September and November 2023, the LGA conducted a survey of local councils on their preparedness to deal with a cyber incident. The purpose of the survey was to provide the LGA with a baseline on which to build its Cyber, Digital and Technology programme and ensure that local authorities have the support they most need to respond to the increasing cyber threat. This report outlines the findings.
