The ALDC resources library contains hundreds of searchable practical items such as Focus leaflets, logos and fonts. It also contains job role specific resources for agents, local chairs, membership secretaries and other bits to aid the smooth running of council groups.

ALDC runs a range of different training and events for Liberal Democrats, catering for all roles and experience levels.

Guidance and resources

ALDC has a vast array of guidance and resources to support you in your role(s) as a campaigner, candidate and councillor. If there’s a specific piece of guidance or a resource that you can’t find, get in touch and they’ll try and help.

Apply for a grant

ALDC administers and raise funds for grant schemes to help Liberal Democrats win local government elections. In 2020/21, we distributed over £150,000. Our grant and funding schemes include G8, ALDC Local Election Appeal and ALDC Fighting Fund.
