This report presents the results of a survey of heads of cultural services in England, which informed the LGA's official response to the autumn 2016 Department for Culture Media and Sport Review of Museums.

The survey was conducted by the LGA's Research and Information team in October 2016 in order to gather information about local authorities' plans and preparations in case of severe weather, to help LGA's lobbying of central government and to highlight the scale of authorities' efforts.
