After many years of successful programmes, you will benefit from the support and continuous personal development that will ensure you have the right skills to transform into the sort of confident, capable, and visionary leader that is required to reinvigorate the local political scene.
You have already shown a proven commitment to the ideals of local government and have demonstrated flair or potential for leadership at a local level, and the capacity to develop politically. You will now gain privileged access to senior party members and work with the best of policy-makers; there will be an open door to model authorities and the most experienced of mentors, and you will gain an understanding of communications skills, as presented by the best the party has to offer.
As well as giving you the practical skills of leadership, this programme is designed to raise your profile within the local and national party. As participants in this programme, you will be able to shape the future and be part of the process of Labour renewing itself.
