The Association of Labour Councillors (ALC) – a Labour Party affiliated organisation which represents Labour councillors of England, Wales and Scotland within the party. The work of the ALC is governed by an executive who are directly elected by Labour councillors from each region.
Regional Reps – elected each year by Labour groups in their respective regions. Their role is to act as the main link with Labour groups and leaders in their region, and represent their region within the wider LGA Labour Group Executive Team.
Vice Presidents – act as champions for local government in Parliament. They are formally confirmed at the Annual LGA General Assembly every July.
Labour's National Executive Committee (NEC) – made up of representatives from each section of the party: government, MPs, MEPs, councillors, trade unions and CLPs. The NEC sets the party's objectives and oversees the running of the party nationally.
