PAS Chief Planners Conference March 2023, Sheffield

In early March 2023 PAS hosted the annual PAS Chief Planners Conference in Sheffield, focusing on a range of topics relating the sector reform, planning and the environment.

The 2023 annual PAS Chief Planners Conference was held on the 2nd and 3rd March 2023 at a time of key changes for the sector. The focus of the conference was on the planning reform agenda and the present challenges of local planning authority services.

It was held in Sheffield and included a fantastic walking tour of the city hosted by Sheffield City Council.

PAS would like to extend our thanks to all the speakers and facilitators that contributed across the two days, and all the staff from Sheffield City Council that supported the event.  We would especially like to thank all the attendees at the conference for their fantastic contributions, insights, shared experiences and advice.  We at PAS are very aware that the annual conferences' biggest attribute is the networking and opportunity for shared ideas and thoughts.

Please do find below the presentations from most of the sessions (there are a couple that we can't shared as they are a bit secret - if you were there then you probably know the ones ;-)). We hope you find these useful.
