National Care Leavers week provides a vital opportunity to acknowledge the success and achievements of care leavers, whilst also raising awareness of the ongoing challenges our young people face as they transition from care.

Integrated Community Teams: a data-driven approach to moving the dial

In March 2024, Caroline Williams, Director of Adult Social Services (DASS), and Alex Robertson, Managing Partner, Consortium24 LLP, working with system partners, presented their data-driven approach to coordinated proactive and preventative care, to the International Technology Enabled Care Conference in Birmingham. This approach is currently being implemented in Warrington.

Reducing re-offending in local communities: an update to the 2005 LGA paper, 'Going Straight'

This local government policy paper sets out the LGA’s refreshed positions on reducing re-offending and probation. It outlines the factors that influence re-offending, and calls for a more coordinated and whole-system approach from Government, in order to provide appropriate support for offenders upon release.
