Client Level Data

The Client Level Data (CLD) collection is the first national collection of social care records, covering requests for support, assessments, reviews and services provided or commissioned by councils as part of their duties under the Care Act 2014.

Finance and resources

Working collaboratively with councils, Government departments and specialist consultancies and contractors, the LGA and the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS) led the development of a robust and transparent approach to evaluating the Use of Resources in adult social care to support sector led improvement.
