The Local Government Association has begun to work with the sector, professional associations, and other groups to map the different elements which currently provide assurance of the performance of local government, in the interests of clarity and transparency and to help understanding of how they all fit together. 

This follows a recommendation from the LGA’s recent corporate peer challenge.

The Police Staff Council is seeking your co-operation in the provision of data for the 2023 Earnings Survey. The information will inform on-going national negotiations and provide accurate and up to date information about the composition of the workforce and provide a means for costing claims, offers and their consequences. The survey has the support of the NPCC, the APCC, the Police Staff Trade Unions and the Home Office.
