Recognising that lack of awareness and information about local opportunities was a barrier to residents engaging with preventative services, Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council supported volunteer members from its Over 50s Assembly to become digital advocates. This case study forms part of our digital experts resource.
The volunteers ran a wide range of engagement sessions with different local groups, raising digital awareness and promoting online resources including the Stockton Information Directory and the Stockton Welfare Advice Network.
