The current LGA Digital Innovation offer for sector led improvement.
The LGA has developed seven new free Councillor training sessions to support members in navigating the world of digital and technology as their local authorities harness this area of innovation to help deal with COVID-19 pressures and support residents, communities and businesses in using technology to improve their everyday lives.
The Local Government Delivery Council (LGDC) was established in late 2007, under the auspices of the Local Government Association, in order to provide leadership across the sector on the service transformation agenda.
The Digital Inclusion Network was launched to provide leadership across the sector on the service transformation agenda.
The LGA Digital Innovation case studies and resources hub provides local government with best practice in the sector to support officers and councillors working on improving services through digital transformation and innovation.
As councils make more local public services available digitally, get more of their workforce online and plan greater collaboration and integration work with partner organisations, cyber security is a priority.
Digital tools and solutions enable councils to improve service design and delivery, to better meet the needs of their residents and improve productivity.
