Our response reiterates the LGA's review that the planning performance regime is an unnecessary measure focusing on arbitrary process targets and that a sector-led approach is a far more effective means of driving improvement.
On affordable housing contributions, the response highlights our concerns with the proposed policy and stresses that thresholds for affordable housing contributions should be determined locally, based on viability and assessment of local need for affordable housing.
