Advocacy plays a critical part in safeguarding adults, both on the front line, and at a strategic level as a partner on safeguarding adults boards.
This resource aims specifically to outline and help shape the role that advocacy can play in Making Safeguarding Personal, by offering support to those who have duties to commission advocacy and to the advocacy sector in its delivery. This in turn will support people who use services and carers.
These resources describe what ‘good’ might look like in Making Safeguarding Personal and promote ownership of this agenda within and across all organisations.
