National Survey of Health and Wellbeing Boards (HWBs)

The LGA is undertaking a State of the Nation Survey on Health and Wellbeing Boards (HWBs) to gather information about the developing relationship between HWBs and Integrated Care Systems (ICS). We are keen to get as  strong a response as possible from all local authorities with HWBs. If your authority has not already done so, please can you or a senior officer with knowledge of the HWB complete the survey by 18 November 2021.

Your views on the effectiveness of relationships, partnership working and standing of HWBs with the ICSs will be valuable in shaping the policy agenda for partnership working at system and place level. It will also ensure that our discussions with government, NHS England and NHS Improvement (NHSEI) reflect the experience and learning of HWBs and inform and improve our support offer to system and place leaders.
