Programme summary

Projects contributing to exchange of good practices

Supports exchange of best practice on skills and employability. Two priority areas are set which correspond to two of the Europe 2020 ‘flagship initiatives':

  1. The ‘Agenda for New Skills and Jobs' (the flagship initiative on employability)
  2. ‘Youth on the Move' (covering youth employability).

The call is open to public authorities and has a budget of €2 million. Deadline now passed: 29/07/2011.

Restructuring, wellbeing at work, and financial participation

This programme is of interest to:

Education and skills managers.

Supports projects to develop and disseminate best practice in three areas: 

  1. Improvement of expertise in restructuring
  2. Better understanding of health and well-being at work during change
  3. Promoting the financial participation of workers.

The call is open to public authorities but is primarily targeted towards employers' and workers' organisations. The budget is € 2.33 million.

PARES: Partnership between employment services

This programme is of interest to:

Programme summary 

The call is targeted at public, private or third-sector organisations whose main mission is providing services for job seekers. The call supports partnerships between such organisations in different EU countries to design and deliver joint employment services.

Regeneration managers, Business advisors.

The facility is aimed help support individuals who want to start or further develop their own micro-enterprise. It will target people who have difficulties accessing the job market or have had trouble obtaining credit in the past. Financing will be provided from the European Investment Bank to intermediary institutions including commercial banks, microfinance institutions, and community development finance institutions. Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs 

This international exchange programme funds young entrepreneurs to gain experience working with experienced entrepreneurs in other EU member states.

Programme summary

The 5th Call for proposals of the Ambient Assisted Living Joint Programme focuses on the development of ICT-based solutions which enable and sustain older adults to continue managing their daily activities in their home. This call aims also at ICT-based solutions which support informal carers in their assistance. The call launched on 29 February 2012, with a proposal submission deadline of 29 May 2012.
