Cyber, digital and technology communities of practice hub

A group that acts in a policy advisory capacity to the Socitm Board, to provide strategic direction for ICT and digital policy for local government. Representatives include regional council representation, and other public and third sector bodies.

The ADEPT Digital Connectivity Working Group focuses on delivery of improved broadband and mobile connectivity at the local level. 

The Cyber Technical Advisory Group (CTAG) has UK wide Government and WARP (Warning, Advisory and Reporting Point) representation, covering issues relating to Cyber Resilience, Information Assurance and Security. 

The Digital Switchover Working Group meets to ensure a smooth transition from analogue to digital, to push for clear national guidance and offer peer to peer support for local government. 

The Local Government Collaboration and Innovation Sub Group is for people who are interested in understanding and shaping how Microsoft Copilot can be used within a local government setting. 

The LGAMN is a network which is open to local government managers with responsibility for their Application Support / DevOps functions. Access to the LGAMN is via a dedicated Teams platform hosted by Rugby Borough Council.
