Do your communities have the capability to use or make a reusable face covering? Psychological capability

Do residents know that you can wash and reuse a face covering? Do they know how to make a face covering out of an old t shirt?  Do they know how to make them fit to make them safe and comfortable? Have they set a plan to make, buy or wear a reusable face covering? Do they know how to use a reusable face covering i.e how to put it on and take it off safely? Have they remembered to carry a reusable face covering with them? Have they remembered to wash it regularly? Do they know where to buy a reusable face covering?

Do they have sewing skills? Do they have the space in their homes for sewing equipment (machine, accessories etc.). Do they have the resources to make themselves a reusable face covering, i.e. can they afford to buy the necessary equipment?

Are there local shops selling reusable face coverings? Do they have old materials available to them to make a reusable face covering? Do they have the materials to make it cool/attractive e.g mickey mouse covering for children, fashionable masks which match outfits?

Do the people in their local community wear a reusable face covering? Is anyone modelling the behaviour of wearing a reusable face covering who they look up to? Are the majority wearing one when they go to places – is it the norm? Do you have local champions of the reusable face covering advertising it online, and modelling it physically?
