We are inviting councillors to join us for a two-part series of online masterclasses to explore their role as local leaders in supporting their council’s digital transformation and placemaking journeys.
The masterclasses will be split into two parts: Becoming a digital council and Building a digital place, consisting of six masterclasses each. For further information and to book onto both parts visit the links below.
Becoming a digital council
As councils increasingly seek to digitise services amidst a climate of stretched budgets and limited capacity, it is crucial for political leaders to grasp what it means to be a modern digital council to accelerate real, long-term change and transformation. 5 | Organisational capability | Thursday 29 February | 10:00-11:30 |
6 | Value | Friday 1 March | 10:00-11:30 |
Building a digital place
Data and digital technology provide councils with new opportunities to engage with communities and enhance placed-based growth. 1 | Connectivity | Wednesday 6 March | 14:00 – 15:30 |
2 | Democracy and participation | Thursday 7 March | 14:00 – 15:30 |
3 | Economic growth and productivity | Friday 8 March | 14:00 – 15:30 |
