The IGNITE programme supports chief executives to further develop their understanding of an increasingly complex environment.
The programme is supported by the LGA and delivered in partnership with Collaborate CIC. Cohorts work together to explore their individual and system leadership challenges, identify and delve into themes relevant to their role with senior leaders and critical friends outside of local government, and build stronger relationships with peers that can support deeper collaboration across local government.

Programme fees
There is a minimal cost for the programme of £2,500.
The other costs, including accommodation for the residential module is covered by the sector support offer for local authorities 2026/27.
