Resetting the relationship between local and national government. Read our Local Government White Paper
Now in its ninth year, the competition sees the best and brightest local government officers compete in a series of real-life challenges around the country.
I am really excited to be working in an amazing, modern library service (Idea Store) and have delivered programmes I am truly passionate about – from reading initiatives to health campaigns and volunteering drives. I have always had a unique, problem solving view to the work I’ve carried out and I am always trying to find new, innovative solutions to long-standing problems in systems and processes. The authority I work at – Tower Hamlets – is a really great place to be; the work they are striving to accomplish is inspirational and I feel proud to be able to contribute to it in my own way.
