PAY OFFER – NJC FOR BRIGADE MANAGERS OF FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICES (NJC)
1. The circular issued on 4 March 2023 advised Chairs and Police, Fire and Crime Commissioners that the employers’ side of the NJC for Brigade Managers had made an offer in respect of a national level pay award for this group for 2022 and 2023:
- A 4 per cent increase on basic pay with effect from 1 January 2022, capped at £5,000.
- A 3.5 per cent increase on basic pay with effect from 1 January 2023, capped at £4,000.
The officers’ side has today responded and rejected the offer.
6 March 2023 - Fire Leaders Association pay offer response
Employers’ side members will now consider the response.
