Joint circular no. 132 – PSC Workforce Pay and Earnings survey

Dear Sir/Madam

The Police Staff Council is seeking your co-operation in the provision of data for the 2023 Earnings Survey. The information will inform on-going national negotiations and provide accurate and up to date information about the composition of the workforce and provide a means for costing claims, offers and their consequences. The survey has the support of the NPCC, the APCC, the Police Staff Trade Unions and the Home Office.

All information provided will be treated confidentially and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations. Information will be aggregated, and no individual or force will be identified in any publications.

If you have any queries about this survey please contact Stephen Richards, ([email protected]). Please send your completed survey forms to Stephen Richards by e-mail at the above address by Friday 9 June 2023.

Both Sides of the PSC appreciate that completing this will be a burden on your force at a time when there are very real pressures on all resources but we stress that this is a very important survey. Thank you for all your co-operation in this matter.

Yours sincerely,

Ben Priestley, Trade Union Side Secretary

David Algie, Employers’ Side Secretariat
