The LGA in Parliament summarises our work on behalf of councils ensuring that local government has a strong, credible voice in Parliament. It sets out how we lobbied to secure positive change to the legislation and policy being debated by parliamentarians in both the House of Commons and House of Lords.
It also provides a snapshot of how we have sought to influence national political discussions by briefing for parliamentary debates and questions, submitting evidence to parliamentary inquiries and organising events which bring together parliamentarians with local government leaders.
