In May 2025, the LGA sent an online survey to all councillors in England and Wales to investigate the extent to which abuse and intimidation remains rife in public life, as well the nature and scale of abuse and intimidation. This research report provides the findings of the survey.

The Employer Standards survey, also known as the ‘health check’, gives a voice to registered social workers, occupational therapists, and non-registered social care professionals. It helps them feel listened to and know that their employers are proactive in tackling challenges. This summary looks at the experiences of occupational therapists in England.
