Statement: LGA stands in support and solidarity with Ukraine
Following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the LGA's four political groups have endorsed a statement from the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR), strongly condemn the multiple attacks and violations of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine.
The LGA joins CEMR in calling on local and regional governments throughout Europe to endorse the statement, which is open to signature by any councillor.
